It’s no spring chicken. Well, that’s for sure because it’s not quite spring. I keep thinking that each cold night is winter’s last gasp. I keep getting proven wrong.
Last night was… cold again. Luckily, to break the cold we wound up at a delightful chicken place.
The vibe was quite spot on for an American style fried chicken place. The ceilings were high and they had soccer playing on the TV. It seems a lot of folks came to watch the game as the cheers were near constant.
We waited patiently for the signature menu to come out. When it did, we both snapped some quick photos.

The chicken was extremely well cooked. The contrast in the texture between the exterior breading and the juicy interior made each bite flavorful. I think it’s a beer batter fry but I’m not entirely sure. The breading was good enough to eat by itself, though.
The portion looks small but each piece was gigantic. It was not unfair for the price and taste.
My companion told me she thought the chicken was higher quality than average because of the size. I can see that being true. There was a lot of meat on piece to enjoy. Talking about it is making me a little hungry.

It was not the first place we stopped at last night, so we were a bit full by the time we made it here. We each made it through a piece or two before we packed it in and left with a to go bag. My companion teased me that the cats were going to enjoy the chicken leftovers.
Korea has a lot of chicken to offer. Everyone has their favorite chains. But this was a notch above the chains. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Suwon.

Here’s the menu if you’re curious. There was a lot to choose from. I always go for signature items. If a place stakes their reputation on a signature, it’s worth a try in my opinion. It really did not disappoint.
Next time, I’ll want to try something different. Not entirely sure what that will be but I bet it’ll be good! I’ll post the location below so people can find it. The week is about to start and I’m about ready to get some sleep. Cheers folks.
